Blackmagic Design

The Australian Blackmagic Design was founded in 2001 by Grant Petty and in November 2002 the company launched its first product on the market, the DeckLink capture card, which made it possible to edit 10 bit video on a Macintosh OS After that, things went very
fast for Blackmagic Design, over the years it bought companies such as Da Vinci Systems, Echolab, Teranex, Cintel, Eyeon Software and Fairlight. All companies with a rich history of products for the audiovisual market.

DaVinci Resolve Authorized Reseller

Blackmagic Design and Socrates also have a long history, in addition to the various converter solutions and ATEM equipment, the first 2.5K Blackmagic Cinema Camera was presented at the NAB in Las Vegas in 2012, followed a year later by the popular Pocket Cinema Camera. Socrates has been an Authorized Reseller for years, but with the arrival of the Cintel Scanner, which we are the only Dutch reseller to have as a demo, we are a so-called Blackmagic Design CAR (Cintel Authorized Reseller).

Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio

With the acquisition of Da Vinci Systems and later Eyeon Software, Blackmagic Design now has very complete software solutions in addition to hardware.
Fusion Studio and DaVinci Resolve Studio can be used from Visual FX to ingest of 16 or 35mm film material. Blackmagic has now set a standard in this area when it comes to affordable but very complete solutions.
