DZOFilm Vespid Prime FF 12mm T2.8 PL/EF mount
The DZOFILM Vespid Prime FF 12mm T2.8 PL mount lens is relatively small and lightweight. It is part of DZOFilm’s Vespid lens series, designed for independent and high-quality full-frame cinematography. With an 80mm front diameter, the lens is compatible with nearly any cine-style matte box. Its compact size makes it an attractive option for drone and gimbal work, as well as handheld or run-and-gun shooting.
This fully manual lens features an interchangeable ARRI PL mount and works with cameras having PL or EF mounts using the included Canon EF mount. The lens provides full-frame coverage, supporting sensors with an image circle of up to 46.5mm, allowing its use on full-frame cameras without vignetting.
The 10-blade aperture produces round, natural-looking out-of-focus highlights, contributing to the lens’s pleasing bokeh. The focus ring can rotate 270° for precise focusing, while the aperture ring can rotate 75°. Additionally, the lens includes a magnetically attached rear filter for ND filters.
